  Established in 1958, Zhejiang A&F University (ZAFU) is a provincial一level key university jointly built by the provincial government and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration.
  Over the past 60 years, the university has grown to cover three campuses, with a total area of 213 hectares. As a multidisciplinary university, it offers eight discipline classes, with strengths in agriculture,
  forestry, and the biological environment. Currently, the disciplines of Engineering, Plant&Animal Science, and Agricultural Science rank in the top 1%of Essential Science Indicators; ZAFU is now ranked in the
  National Top 200 Universities according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities.

• NANJING FORESTRY UNIVERSITY

  Nanjing Forestry University (NFU), located in the east of Nanjing, at the foot of Purple Mountain and east of Xuanwu Lake, is a comprehensive university administered directly by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education.Its origin can be traced back to 1902, when it was founded as Sanjiang Normal College. Then, it evolved as: Forest Departments of Jinling University (founded in 1888) and Central University (in 1902).
  During the nationwide restructuring of institutions of higher learning in 1952, the university was called Nanjing Forestry College combined with different forest departments from Wuhan University, Nanchang University and Hubei Agricultural College. NFU was also named Nanjing Technological College of Forest Products in 1972. Again in 1983 NFU resumed its name as Nanjing Forestry College. 1985 witnessed the founding of Nanjing Forestry University.
  NFU pays a particular attention to scientific research programs and has attained great achievements. There are 40 R&D research centers, national key open labs, engineering centers, institutes, and divisions approved by the State Forestry Administration and the provincial government, and there are also 59 university-based research institutions and centers. Since 1978, NFU has carried out more than 700 various kinds of scientific research projects each year including "973", "863"and "948" research programs together with other research projects at the state, ministerial and provincial levels. More than 280 research projects have obtained fruitful results and various prizes have been obtained from the state, the ministerial and the provincial government, among which 4 got the first prize and 37 obtained the second and third prizes of State Science and Technology Advancement; 1 had the first prize, 2 had the second prize together with 1 for the third and 1 for the forth prize of State Invention; 1 got the second prize of State Natural Sciences; and 237obtained prizes at the ministerial and provincial levels. NFU issues academic publications such as: Journal of Nanjing Forestry University (one edition for natural sciences and the other for humanities and social sciences), China Forestry Science and Technology, Interior Design+Construction and Forestry Energy Conservation.

• BEIJING FORESTRY UNIVERSITY

  The history of BFU can be dated back to 1902. Originally known as the Forestry Section of the Agriculture Department of the Imperial University of Peking (Jingshi Daxuetang, predecessor of Peking University), its academic force was greatly strengthened and expanded through the successive acquisition of the agriculture departments of Tsinghua Xuetang (Tsing Hua Imperial College, predecessor of Tsinghua University), Zhili Agricultural School, the Catholic University of Peking as well as North China University.
  During the nationwide restructuring of higher education in 1952, the Forestry Department of Beijing Agricultural University and that of Hebei Agricultural Institute were combined to set up an independent Beijing Forestry College (BFC),one of the earliest higher education institutes in the country that specialized in forest studies. Following the merging of the Landscape Architecture Department of Beijing Agricultural University and the Architecture Department of Tsinghua University in 1956 into it, BFC was designated in 1960 as a key national university, and was formally changed in 1985 to the present name of Beijing Forestry University. In 1996, BFU was approved to enter"211 Project". In 2008, it was entitled as Innovation Platform for Prioritized Academic Disciplines, and in 2011， honored as a member of League of Hi-tech& Science for Universities. With further development, BFU successfully initiated the project of Advanced Innovation Center in 2016.

• ZHEJIANG UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

  Technology (ZJU刀is a comprehensive key university owned by the Zhejiang Provincial Government, and it was established in the Year 1953. The history of the University can be traced back to 1910, when the Zhejiang Intermediate School of Technology was first founded. The ZJUT is situated in Hangzhou, a picturesque historical and cultural city in China. As a century-old university, ZJUT has gone through various historical periods, namely Hangzhou Chemical Engineering School, Zhejiang Secondary Chemical School, Zhejiang Chemical College, and Zhejiang Engineering College. The present University, as a provincial key comprehensive university, and its comprehensive strength ranks among the top 100 universities in China.
  The University aims to become a comprehensive research university with strong local characteristics. By the end of 2010, the scientific research funds have amounted to about 3.2 billion yuan.
  To better facilitate international exchange and co一operation, the University has established partnerships with more than 50 universities from the US, the UK, France, Germany, Japan, Belgium, Australia,Russia, South Korea, the Netherlands, Sweden, Austria etc. to conduct academic exchange, scientific research and co一operation.

• Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology&Engineering, CAS

  Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology&Engineering, CAS Located at the north sector of Ningbo Higher Education Park, the
  Ningbo  Institute  of  Industrial  Technology (CNITECH),  the  Chinese Academy Sciences (CAS), is the first national research institute founded by Chinese Academy of Sciences in Zhejiang province. The foundation of the CNITECH was initiated by Chinese Academy of Sciences, the People's Governments of Zhejiang Province and Ningbo City in April, 2004, and approved by the State Commission Office for Public Sector Reform on March 10, 2006. Upon the validation of the three initiating parties on November 30, 2007, the CNITECH was formally established in Ningbo.
  "Develop applicable materials, manufacture advanced devices" is our guiding ideology and "One focus, four persistence" is our mission. The CNITECH is abiding to, and will continue with, these two principles. Specifically, the CNITECH works for the establishment in Zhejiang with research and service spanning all over China and even the world. We are confident the CNITECH will become a premier comprehensive research institution in the Yangtze River Delta Region with features covering technology innovation, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into actual productive forces, scientific and technological services and education in no time. An amount of￥760 million has been invested in the CNITECH 2nd stage construction. It is
  estimated a campus of 8000 m2 in area will be accomplished by 2013.
  The CNITECH is now moving on a new phase. All employees are working  with  enthusiasm  and  confidence  based  on the  Scientific
  Outlook on Development in order to promote the development of our country in the fields of material sciences and technology and contribute to the improvement of regional economy, society and civilization.
